What's Going on in Religious Education
***RE will be on vacation until September 9, 2018. During these couple months there will be no RE classes held. Nora will continue to be available throughout the summer so the younger kiddos can still see her. And we will have a table in the back of the Sanctuary where kiddos can sit together, color, or hangout. Again, RE will resume on September 9,2018.
Please, check back with us over the summer with any changes.
The Religious Education planning committee meets in the Dickens Room monthly from 12:30 - 2:30pm - our next meeting will be July 21st. All are welcome for idea sharing - bring your lunch!
Nursery/Daycare is also provided. Nora Parkman, a licensed Daycare Provider, is available 10am—12pm each Sunday unless otherwise noted.
*R.E. does not meet over the summer.
Our Lifespan Religious Education program includes all ages of members and friends of UUCJ. Our goals are to inform participants about the history and heritage of Unitarian Universalism, to provide background knowledge about other traditional religious faith communities, and to help all participants to find and follow their own paths of faith development. We try to provide a loving and safe community to foster the spiritual, emotional, social and intellectual growth of each participant.
We offer licensed child care during the worship service, 10:30-11:30am. Infants and preschoolers will find a nurturing adult who provides developmentally-appropriate activities. We want the children to experience our church as a warm and welcoming place where they are loved.
Adult Religious Education
Sunday morning Adult Discussion Group meets from 9:00 to 10:15am. New members are welcome anytime.
